I am a PhD student in statistics at Stanford University. My undergraduate degree is in math, and I like to apply the mathematical framework that I’ve acquired to more applied fields, which gives me a unique perspective on them.
I have set up this blog for several reasons. First, it should serve as an expository window for my academic research. Second, I find blogs to be a good pedagogical format, and pedagogy, in addition to being inherently rewarding, helps me to organize my own ideas and suggest new directions of research. I also use this blog to explain and discuss interesting problems I have come across.
I maintain a website as well.
